2008 Red Dot Award
With more than 11,000 submissions from 61 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. Etón is honored to win the red dot award for product design for the emergency radio product line. “Red dot; best of the best 2008” is the highest award of the competition, for pioneering design and special innovations.

The IDEA® (International Design Excellence Awards) program is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts. Among the 77 silver winners out of the 1500 entries submitted, Etón FR500 and FR1000 won a design award for Communication Tools in this year’s 2008 IDEA. |

2005 Design & Engineering Showcase Award
The P’7132 Porsche Design by Etón radio was a winner at the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show. It was recognized in the Personal Electronics category for being in a “class of its own.” The awards committee noted that “its sleek body, metallic finish, and backlit LCD make a beautiful exterior for a sophisticated portable radio.” |
